CHF SPHS series stainless steel plunger-type ball end spherical plain bearings are high-performance threaded rod end assemblies designed for demanding applications requiring heavy tensile/compressive forces, high rigidity, and protection against accidental disengagement. This series features a unique plunger-type ball head and retaining ring locking structure, combined with all-stainless steel construction and self-lubricating technology. It provides customers in European and American heavy machinery, high-end testing equipment, aerospace actuation systems, and precision hydraulic mechanisms with a pull-out resistant, high-rigidity, low-friction, and maintenance-free heavy-duty motion joint solution.
Core Technical Features
Anti-Disengagement Retaining Ring Design:The ball head pin uses a plunger-type structure with annulargrooves. After being inserted into the spherical plain bearing socket, it is mechanically locked by a high-strength stainless steel retaining ring. The axial pull-out resistance is 3-5 times that of traditional threaded locking systems, completely preventing accidental separation under pure tension or severe impact.
Heavy-duty threaded rod end: The rod end body is made of AISI 4140 high-strength stainless steel (heat-treated hardness HRC 32-36) or 17-4PH precipitation-hardening stainless steel (HRC 40-44). The thread root features a large arc transition, improving fatigue resistance by over 50%.
Compact and high rigidity: The overall structure is compact, with no exposed lock nut, optimizing the force path and increasing axial and lateral stiffness by 60-80% compared to standard rod end bearings.
